Warren Harris Appointed to Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession Committee of the Houston Bar Association

Bracewell & Giuliani Partner Warren W. Harris was recently appointed to co-chair the Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession Committee for 2010-2011. This committee was designed by the Houston Bar Association (HBA) to directly involve minority lawyers in outreach and community development. The committee also designs programs to help educate and promote equal opportunities for minority lawyers in Houston.

The HBA has over 12,000 voluntary members who seek to uphold standards of excellence in the practice of law in the Houston and legal community. The main purpose of this non-profit organization is to promote community involvement, to improve the availability of legal materials, and to strengthen the link between lawyers and the public sector.
