Bracewell & Giuliani LLP Labor Associate Eric Barbosa was recently named a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by San Antonio Business Journal. Mr. Barbosa represents employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies on a variety of labor and employment matters, including affirmative action compliance, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Texas Payday Act. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to counseling and advising clients on the formulation and implementation of preventative labor and employment strategies, policies and procedures.

In addition, Mr. Barbosa serves as deputy general counsel for Spurs Sports & Entertainment and represents all associated entities in areas to include litigation, commercial contracts, governmental relations, intellectual property and privacy rights, and day-to-day operations.
